Transfer Music from iPhone to iPod
I just got the new iPod touch 5 and I don't want to have to spend the money re-downloading all the music I have on my iPhone 4S. Can I transfer the songs to my new iPod?
For the music purchased from iTunes Store, you just need to transfer your purchases from iPhone to iTunes and then sync them to iPod. For the songs from other sources, you need to first transfer them to your computer from iPhone, add them to iTunes, and then transfer them to iPod with the sync of iTunes.
To avoid the trouble, you can simply get TunesGo to help you. It lets you transfer all music library from iPhone to iPod with ease. You do not need to transfer music either from iPhone to computer or from iPhone to iTunes first. Using TunesGo, the songs will be moved from iPhone to iPod with one click.
Here, let me show how you can get all your music transferred from iPhone to iPod using TunesGo.
1. Download and install TunesGo
TunesGo is compatible with both Windows (8.1 / 8 /7 / Vista / XP) and Mac OS X (10.6 / 10.7 / 10.8 / 10.9). Download TunesGo and have it installed onto your computer.
2. Connect iPhone and iPod
First, launch TunesGo on your computer. Then, connect both iPhone and iPod to computer with USB cables. TunesGo will detect both devices as soon as they are connected.
3. Transfer music from iPhone to iPod
The files on your iPhone and iPod are shown in the left sidebar. To transfer iPhone music to iPod, click Media under the iPhone category. In the Media window, click Music. After the music management window shows up on the right pane, choose the songs you want to transfer to your iPod. Then click the inverted triangle under Export to. When the pull-down menu pops up, choose to export the selected music to your iPod (Your iPod’s name is shown in the pull-down menu). Your music will be moved from iPhone to iPod in no time.
